Arbor Bed and Breakfast opened its doors in 1999 and since then we ( Julie and Peter) have welcomed guests from all over the world. Our B&B is located in the North Nechako Bench area of Prince George and is adjacent to over 100 kilometers of trails. The trails are used year round with mountain biking and hiking in the spring/summer and skiing/snowshoeing in the winter. We are always asked if there are “wild animals” in the area and the answer of course is yes ! The forest near our home is also home to moose, deer, bear ( mostly black), fox,…..the list goes on. But the wildlife have lots to do and eat in their natural habitat and don’t pose a threat – just make lots of noise when you are hiking.
We are a family home located on a large landscaped lot. The Bed and Breakfast has a private entrance onto a large deck with , barbecue and eating/relaxing areas.
In 1998 when we bought the house is was mostly weeds . Julie saw the potential and now her green thumb is evident in every corner of the yard and guests marvel at the lush perennial beds in an area with only 89 frost free days a year.
The Bed and Breakfast is 10 kilometers from all amenities in Prince George – we say that one of the nice things about the city is you are 15 minutes from anywhere. Prince George has natural beauty , history, culture and wilderness at its doorstep.
